WHO HAS SET FOOT IN YOUR CITY?

Who has set foot in your city, your home, your family, be it Christ Jesus or the enemy?
Whom do you allow? Who do you entertain?
Recently I shared on the radio the subject of taking your thoughts captive. In doing that we either give ground or take ground. When we take our thoughts captive we either agree with the Word of God or disagree. It’s black or white, good or evil. We live daily in a battle for our future; our words and thoughts can create. God spoke everything into existence. Out of our heart flows either life or death. What do we say?
Do we agree with what the Lord says or do we agree with the devil?
The Word of the Lord says, speak to those things that are not as though they were.
Our Words do create also.
When someone in you household gets angry it usually upsets the whole household.
In anger you are speaking death to your household. When I become angry about something, and if my family hears me, there usually is a reaction. When I’m happy and joyful usually my household is joyful too, but not always. We choose how we feel and we make choices all day long. If we go to work, we choose how we do our job. We choose if we do a good job for the company or you may choose to be lazy and do a bad job. Bonus’s come usually to those who do a good job, but if you don’t get a bonus God still see’s what kind of job your doing. If we do all things as unto the Lord we should be content at the end of the day in the job well done. Even being a homemaker, stay at home Mom, or someone retired you still have things to do. How many of you after doing a task sit back with the feeling that job is done and it gives you satisfaction?
In our cities of Duluth and Superior, over the years God has sent some Godly people. Years ago Kathryn Khulman, and Oral Roberts came, along with the Happy Hunters, Marilyn Hickey, Others from all over the world. God has sent them here to encourage the church and His people, so show us examples of how to walk in the Spirit.
George Stormont was a preacher in Duluth who had the privilege to walk with the preacher, Evangelist Smith Wigglesworth. They still come do you receive them?
You may or may not know these names, look them up and see their story. Look for the captivating words of what they spoke and of whom they spoke. Their lives, were lives lead by the power of the Holy Spirit and they learned to take their thoughts captive. These are the days of the purification of the Bride.
The Bride has made herself ready, she was the wise virgin, and the Lord said He is going to make His Bride without spot or wrinkle. What a love, what captivating Words does He speak over us? He loves us with an everlasting love! What ever is true, whatever is lovely, and whatever is worthy of praise LET YOUR MIND DWELL ON THESE THINGS!
We who are called by His name carry the very presence of the Lord in us. He knows our thoughts, our words, our actions, are they pleasing to Him? We are to be holy as He is Holy; we are to be perfect as he is perfect we cannot do this on our own. We are to take up our cross daily. Dying to self and living for Christ! I can do ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS WHO STRENGTHENS ME.
Who has set foot in your city, your home, your family, and in YOUR HEART?
Choose you this day whom you will serve? The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Where will your choice’s lead you into eternity?
